I moved to Niceville, Florida twenty-three years ago from Vicksburg, Mississippi. This move was precipitated by my husband being offered a job with the Air Force Research Lab at Eglin. My husband and I jumped at the opportunity to raise our children in Niceville where the schools are strong, and the people are fantastic. We are also really big windsurfers, so living so close to the most beautiful beaches and bayous around was a dream come true! I have been a real estate agent in Niceville for the last 17 years. I have a son and a daughter who both graduated from Georgia Tech. About sixteen years ago, my husband and I had the opportunity to purchase a very old (in need of a lot of TLC) house in Niceville on an amazing lot that looks out over the Bay. Our whole family can windsurf, kayak, sail, paddle board, swim, and boat from our backyard! This property has been such a blessing to our family and friends. It truly is heaven on earth! Since I love the water so much, I have a real passion for properties that are on the water in Niceville. I take every opportunity I can to tour these houses by land and to view them by boat to fully appreciate all they have to offer!
